We offer mentoring and counseling programs for inner-city youth in the Houston area , ages 7 to 21. Our team helps with finding a career path, job searches, and learning English or Spanish as a second language. All our programs are held at our youth center, where young people can get the support and guidance they need for a brighter future.

REFINERY

Here we meet with new comers’ to see where their at mentally and emotionally, and then give them the counseling they need to re-define their past, present and future.

THE LABORATORY

Where  kids meet to achieve their goals discussed in the REFINERY. This is a research/computer room where a counselor  help kids with research, writing resume’s, etc. 

STUDY HALL

 À library set-up, with a few laptops, where kids peacefully study, learn Spanish. 

TIME OUT ROOM

A space where kids can be by themselves in solitude, meditation, just to think, and breathe.

PRAYER ROOM

Self-explanatory.

P.O.P’ S

Here the adults, parents, employees, meet daily to cover all the kids in the program with prayer. 

STEPFATHER’S MINISTRY

Where stepfathers and/or the children of stepfathers gather, and have healthy conversation on how to effectively function in this capacity. 

RITE OF PASSAGE

Following six (6) months in the program pursuing and/or obtaining those goals they set out to obtain upon their first meeting in the REFINERY, the kids are given the opportunity to become a teen counselor to pour into their peers, and to become an actual paid employee of the organization.

ThIs organization conducts youth mentorship programs, educational workshops, life skills training, and community outreach initiatives. Activities include tutoring, leadership development, character-building programs, and provides resources and support services to underserved youth, in the community.
